I used Proplex for covering my brand new hard wood floor during my housewarming party, and was very happy with it. It was easy to lay out and tape (took us maybe 1.5 hours for a large living room), while by being waterproof and non slippery, avoided a lot of damage to my floor from the dancing and drink spilling! The morning after, it was easy to tear it down, and I was happy to see a clean undamaged floor underneath. The only drawback I would see is that you do need a lot of tape to fix it (2*10 GBP Ducktapes rolls), and that the green printing is not exactly "classy" for a party, but that's what you get from using builder's material.
I purchased the sheets to use in my house to protect the wood flooring during a party. They were easy to lay and worked perfectly. I used the translucent sheets and secured them with white low tack tape. The telephone staff were very helpful and the product was delivered efficiently.
Purchased to protect floors in a retail unit whilst refurbishing - did the job perfectly, and were delivered quickly and efficiently.
