Trailing power leads are an accident waiting to happen. Why not secure your power leads away to prevent this happening in the first place?
This versatile Skyhook is a temporary cable support which keeps leads high off the ground to prevent tripping or electrocution. You can hook the Skyhook over high structures such as floor joists, ceiling grids, or by even screwing the hook into the ceiling or wall.
The Skyhook is manufactured from bright yellow non-conductive material to make they remain seen.

Protec can produce to order various Colours in Proplex. We are currently manufacturing Yellow sheets for one customer. Why?
Well for one, it can help you stand out from the crowd! It can also identify whose sheets are who’s on a site.
We can also customise Proplex with your corporate logo and other branding, and produce the Proplex material to any colour you wish – just send us the Pantone references!

We’re delighted with this incredible feedback we’ve received from a homeowner doing extensive refurbishment in her home. So often our products can be used for private domestic use as well as large commercial use, and we’re thrilled to see them put to such good use!
Take a look at the bottom of the page for a photo of our Promesh 1207 Flame Retardant floor protection in action. And we definitely approve of the wall painting!
Here is the testimonial we’ve received:
During our self build project we used the stone sill protector which was easy to cut to size to install and did a brilliant job of protecting the sills, which otherwise would have suffered from falling cement and potential damage from falling building materials.
During installation of the interior fittings and decoration we also used the Promesh 1207 and Protec flooring protector for our porcelain tiles and timber floors. Both were easy to install and were supplied in manageable roll sizes, overlapping and taping meant that we were not afraid of any hazards of tripping over or slipping and it was easy to roll up and take away from site when the project was compete.
The floor protection was excellent in that paint or water spills did not pass through to the floor finish below. It was also useful if we needed to just cover a small area of a room temporarily when we needed to do some of the final jobs.
The technical team also gave good advice on the products from the range that would be suitable for our needs.

We’re extremely proud to have raised over £45,000 (and counting) alongisde Taylor Wimpey at the recent 3 Peaks Challenge, raising money for the COINS Foundation.
We have received this letter from Taylor Wimpey which we think details the achievement quite well:
Dear Protec,
Re: 3 Peaks Challenge Charity Event
As you know, last month nine of us agreed (anively) to take part in the 3 Peaks Challenge, in an attempt to raise as much money as we could for the COINS Foundation who, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, are committed to build 50 homes in sub-Saharan Africa; Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and, most recently, Haiti, as well as funding school and water projects in the same areas.
Through the most generous donations and pledges from you and our Business Contacts, our two Director Teams managed to secure a whopping £44,444.04 (and still rising) which took us to the top of the fund raising leader-board in style, and the faster of our two teams also managed to finish in an amazing (to us and everyone else) 6th place out of 43!

OK, apologies for the pun, but this one is unusual, even for us.
Our latest project has been to supply Winfresh Banana Depot near Stansted with temporary protection materials during the construction of a new wing to their banana ripening section, as well as a new three-storey building for office staff.
We’re delighted to be working with Kier Eastern again, and no doubt our collaboration will ensure a safe and protected environment for people, equipment and bananas alike.
Here’s a link to Kier Eastern’s news article about the recent development.

When it comes to moving heavy machinery, floor protection becomes a real issue. Traditionally strong products such as steel sheeting were required to take the weight of the machinery whilst protecting the floor adequtely. However, one drawback to steel sheeting is that it can damage the floor after repeated use.
A large engineering Machinery installer which works in various industries has started using our 3mm Proplex floor protection as a replacement to steel sheeting. It performs brilliantly and doesn’t mark the floors like the steel does.
