Digitally Printed Scaffold Advertising Opportunities offer great value brand promotion to thousands.
It is often a requirement, due to safety, to use scaffold sheeting and safety netting on scaffold structures. It provides are great barrier against the elements to make it easier for workers while using scaffolding for access and provides a vital safety guard for objects/tools that might otherwise be dropped and fall to the ground below.
This is particularly relevant in highly populated areas such as cities where large buildings are either under construction or refurbishment. It is more than likely you have walked alongside these scaffold structures and while being safeguarded by the sheeting wondered what has been going on and the future use of the building being worked on behind them.
From a contractor working on the site and the owner of the development’s perspective it is often a really good opportunity to use this scaffold sheeting to advertise the future of the building whether it be a new library, set of flats or retail store. Despite this, the amount of time blank scaffold sheeting is used, leaving the nature of the development unclear, is often surprising and is a waste in terms of early marketing opportunities.
Protec International has provided scaffold sheeting along with other forms of scaffold protection for over 20 years and knows the benefit of being able to use custom print, in this instance, to create a perfect advertising medium. The contractors working on the development love being able to print their logo on the side of the building and show they are responsible for constructing the current development or alternatively being able to provide their client an opportunity to show what is actually being built. With the advancement in digital printing it is now possible to print almost anything on scaffold sheeting whether it being messages or full colour photos.
If you are undertaking a new development and want to explore the early opportunities of advertising while still in the initial stages of construction, take a look at our products and what we can offer with versatile and eye-catching, large format print.

About Protec’s Custom Branded Service
In recent years Protec have developed a variety of flexible and yet sometimes sophisticated methods of printing onto the protection materials within our product lines. Whether it is printed Proplex sheets, Tape, Proscaff Scaffold sheeting or a bespoke printed PVC banner Protec can offer an own branding printing solution for most companies when it comes to temporary protection materials.
The process of custom branded protection is very straight forward in that from the initial enquiry and quotation an artwork approval is produced and supplied for the customer to “sign off” their approval and acceptance of the logo design, colours, purchase price and quantity to be produced. In raising this artwork approval Protec will need a copy of the company logo which can be provided through a company letter head, JPEG file or other means. An example of a slightly unusual method of a company supplying its logo to Protec to draw an artwork that came from one company who just took a digital photograph of the logo on their work shirt, emailed it to Protec and from that an official artwork was drawn! It really is that easy and straight forward to send a copy of your logo to Protec.
Once the artwork approval has been signed and returned by the customer then the material is put into production and depending on the turnaround time is manufactured and shipped directly to the customer or held in the Protec warehouse for call-off over a pre agreed period of time.
One of the key advantages of using Protec to produce your branded materials this flexibility in both artwork generation and also the production and stock holding side of the process.
There are numerous ways in which an artwork can be used for own branded protection and in many cases the logo may simply be copied from the original file supplied by the customer but as the example above illustrates it is possible for the artwork department to re-draw a logo into an official artwork if it can’t be copied for either quality or resolution issues.
Protec are able to work with most company logos in producing your branding but there may be occasions where the printing process limits the size, colour or complexity of the print. In these circumstances Protec are usually able to put forward alternative print options to maximise the impact of your logo.
Custom Branded protection provides a company with identity and ownership of it protection materials on site, it advertises what they are doing and who they are thus raising awareness of the high standards they are working to in using protection materials to protect their works.
Protec are proud to offer an extensive range of temporary protection materials that can actually be branded with a bespoke company logo or message. We were very pleased with both the support provided by Protec and the quality of the print and product. When fitting Digiscaff we found out that we needed extra 3 rolls to provide full coverage, this was provided within just a few days providing an excellent after service.”
